Hi! I’m Fiona O’Malley! I’m an Editor and Producer based in Los Angeles. I graduated from the Syracuse University S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in May 2025 with a BS in Television, Radio, and Film.
My passion for storytelling spans from development to post-production. I am especially interested in editing, but also enjoy producing and directing. I have worked as a Production Assistant for Lionsgate on the NBC sitcom “Extended Family” and an Assistant Editor for Post Producer BJ Maier on his documentary Segal. I also played Lucy Gully on the Starz drama series “Heels.”
I am currently working as an assistant at the post production house ArsenalFX Color and freelance editing on the side. My recent shorts include my Senior Capstone film Hazel Supreme with director Grace Pearce. I learned how to create visual effects using After Effects and Fusion for the first time on this film. I locked picture for Evan Klein’s directorial debut film After the First (arriving in 2026 to a festival near you!). I am currently cutting Augusta Mariano’s USC Masters Thesis film ITMRIAPNG.
